„Na háji“ farm

We are a small farm consisting of our family members and friends. We are located in the south-west of the Štiavnice Mountains (Štiavnické vrchy), in the village of Devičany. Our orchard with an area of 7 hectares is located on the nearby hill called Háj.

We established the farm in the spring of 2003. Originally we had planned to grow medicinal plants as a complementary activity to our jobs. Eventually we started to focus on fruit and its processing and the farm became the main activity for some of us.

Most of the original trees in the orchard are apple trees, with a few pear, apricot and plum trees among them. Fruit and its products are the main activity of the farm. The assortment consists of jams, ciders, dried fruits, purees, teas, syrups and compotes.
