We are a small family winery dedicated to the production of wine exclusively from blackcurrants. The history of our winery began with the planting of 3 hectares of blackcurrants in 2003. Our wine is aged in cellars carved into the hard sand near the village of Želovce. We only produce a limited number of bottles of each type each year.

The beginnings of blackcurrant wine production in Želovce date back to the times of the county of the Zichy family, which built a Baroque manor house here in 1772. Blackcurrant wine was produced here and used to treat the anaemia from which the Countess suffered.

Over a period of 18 years, we have gradually refined a set of our own recipes for the production of several varieties of this fantastic drink. These recipes are our family jewel. For the production of our wines we use currant varieties VIOLA, OTELO, ZUZKA and KATKA.
