Access is possible directly from the town or from the road to Veľký Krtíš, along the dirt road between the vineyards. The uphill forest path will lead you straight under the rock after 15 minutes. The rock is made up by an intermittent belt of conglomerate rocks of about 50 metres long, up to a maximum height of 15 metres. The quality of the rock is highly variable, ranging from zero to 90 percent. It is nowhere for a 100 percent. In the better sectors, you will occasionally have a pebble left in your hand. In others, you are glad you are left with only a pebble in your hands instead of a big rock. Some of the paths also have cut catches.
