KUPKO Aquatermal Strehová

Aquatermal Strehová is a complex with year-round operations. The indoor pools and wellness centre are open all year round. During the summer months (June – September), the outdoor area – Kupko Strehová – is also open (depending on the weather and the regulations of the Regional Office of Public Health Veľký Krtíš). The newly renovated area of ​​the swimming pool has a capacity of up to 2,500 immediate visitors and offers 6 pools (entertainment, stainless steel relaxation, whirlpool, children’s, recreational, swimming pool) with thermal water, where everyone will find their own. In addition to swimming pools, the Kupko Strehová complex offers many attractions (sports fields, playgrounds) and many refreshment options (a restaurant, 6 buffets, ice cream).

The water reaches a temperature of 28 °C to 36 °C and is supplied to the pools from two boreholes. The water type is sodium bicarbonate containing Na+,HCO3 with trace elements of Ca2, Mg2, C1-,SO4 -2,NO3. It is natural, bicarbonate-sodium warm, very soft, weakly alkaline water without sediment. It has a beneficial effect on the musculoskeletal system and has beneficial cosmetic effects.
