In the Central Slovak vine-growing region we represent the largest wine producer with many years of experience in wine production dating back to 1972. However, our experience comes not only from winemaking, but also from growing the grapes themselves.
We grow grapes in our own vineyards in the vine-growing villages of Čebovce, Príbelce, Nenince, Bušince, Veľký Krtíš and Veľké Zlievce. Together we manage 230 hectares of vineyards located in an area that is not affected by heavy industry or highway construction. The entire grape production is grown in so-called integrated production. The goal is to achieve a higher quality harvest in a way that does not burden the environment. The basis of integrated production is the maintenance or improvement of soil fertility and a multifaceted environment. Natural mechanisms ensuring environmental protection are preferentially supported with regard to economy and social requirements. When growing grapes, we place emphasis on the harmony between biological, technical and chemical measures.
